Census-designated place

A census-designated place is a place that is identified by the United States Census Bureau as a place dedicated for statistical purposes. They are communities that do not have their own government, but are similar to incorporated places in other ways.

National Register of Historic Places

The National Register of Historic Places is the United States governments official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures, and objects worthy of preservation. The list is kept by the National Park Service. The National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 created the National Register and the method for adding properties to it. There are more than one million properties on the National Register, 80.000 are listed by themselves. BC Place

BC Place is a sports stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia. The arena opened on June 19, 1983, and is the current home to the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer. The stadium was originally built for the Expo 86 which was held in Vancouver. Until May 4, 2010, the stadium was the worlds largest air-supported domed stadium.
